Service Area: Frequently Asked Questions

How far do you travel for culvert installation jobs?

We primarily serve Kaufman County and cover the full extent of the county, from Seagoville in the northwest to Wills Point in the east. For larger jobs or areas just outside the county line, we evaluate on a case-by-case basis. If you're in a neighboring county within 30-40 miles of Kaufman city, contact us and we'll let you know whether we can reach your property.

Do you work in Rockwall County?

Yes, we cover the edge areas of Rockwall County that border Kaufman County, including the Heath TX area. Rockwall County culvert permits go to Rockwall County, not Kaufman County Development Services. Those jobs follow the Rockwall County permit process.

Do you serve Wills Point TX?

Yes. Wills Point is in eastern Kaufman County, about 25 miles east of Kaufman city on US-80. We serve residential and rural properties in the Wills Point area with the same culvert installation, gravel driveway, and grading services we provide across Kaufman County. The Kaufman County permit process applies for unincorporated properties.

Do you serve Seagoville TX?

Yes. Seagoville is in the northwestern corner of Kaufman County, near the Dallas County line. We serve culvert and driveway jobs on Kaufman County roads in the Seagoville area. Note that properties in Seagoville city limits may need to check with the City of Seagoville for driveway approach requirements in addition to any county permits.
